We look forward to welcoming you to cosy up in the bar this winter, whether here to dine or for a festive drink.

We have recently updated our wines available by the glass, be sure to try the Barbara d’Asti Ceppi Storici, a light and fruity Piemonte wine that that pairs beautifully with pizza and pasta as well as the lamb confit which often features on the menu.

English sparkling wines have proven that they can compete with the best bubbly in the world and we have two local sparkling wines on our list which are perfect to try over the festive period. The dry and intense Biddenden Gribble Bridge and the very local fruity Squerryes Brut from Westerham are both available by the bottle.

On a cold winter’s morning head to the bar and enjoy breakfast or brunch including a selection of great British favourites, hearty vegetarian plates, light dishes for the health conscious and great dishes for kids.  Paired with one of our diverse range of fragrant and comforting loose leaf teas or a barista coffee, you have the perfect start to the day.

The addition of oat and soya milk for your coffee and tea is popular with many members, not just vegans, although our standard flat white or cappuccino is as popular as ever. Don’t forget to order one of our tea breads to go with your hot drink, they are a necessity when sitting fireside!

Check out our new drinks on draught, we now have the pale and light Kozel Czech lager, as well as Cornish Orchards, a natural apple cider full of west country character.  The guest bitter tap often showcases something local and seasonal alongside the club favourite Harvey’s Best.

Don’t feel left out if you are driving as we also have a range of low or zero alcohol options for drivers, including Bitburger and Peroni alcohol-free lagers and a new low-alcohol Harvey’s Best ale. We also have a great selection of soft drinks, and look out for our seasonal virgin cocktails.

We love preparing and creating cocktails, and we have a warming selection for autumn and are planning some fabulous festive cocktails. We firmly recommend our crowd-pleasing Christmas ‘Poinsettia’ cocktail, made with prosecco, cointreau and cranberry; the perfect aperitif.

We love gin and our growing collection is displayed on a chalkboard in the bar, particular favourites to try include an award winning British hand-crafted copper distilled Cucumber Gin and a Californian St George Terroir gin with aromatic fir and bay laurel botanicals, which is the perfect base for a martini. The delightfully pink Terres de Mistral Provence Gin is great with either tonic or lemonade.

Our intimate restaurant is open all through the winter months, with a full and varied daily menu as well as the additional weekend specials menu on Friday and Saturday.

We are really proud to be an independent restaurant and provide a wide range of dishes for all tastes to suit all our members.  We take the future very seriously and are excited to be mentoring a new generation of chefs in the traditional way.

As a gift to all members you will receive a 20% discount voucher to redeem at the Club in January, February and March.

As an added enticement, we are re-introducing the very popular Monday to Thursday Table d’Hote menu, returning in January. This features an inexpensive but high quality two- or three-course meal – keep an eye on the website for menu updates!
