Joining our fabulous team in the kitchen this year is Alfie Lucas as an apprentice chef who we are putting through his NVQ training and Cath Freeman, sous chef; Cath brings years of experience from several private clubs in Kent.
With such an excellent team in the kitchen we have been really pleased to be able to focus on serving great dishes on our menus. Our chefs love being able to produce tasty homemade meals every day especially with the addition of the home grown produce. In addition to our Breakfast Menu, Daily Menu and Weekend Specials we have also introduced a new Table d’Hôte menu for Monday to Thursday evenings in October to entice you to enjoy dining in the wonderful warm and cosy surroundings in the Club.
Look out for some updates on the children’s menu this autumn, we love to offer a variety of options for our younger members.
We have many exciting events planned at the club and dining is an integral part of that experience.
Burns Night is a great addition to the yearly calendar along with the firm favourites such as Tapas Night, Bonfire Night, New Year’s Eve Party and Curry Nights. The Wine Tasting evenings which we hold four times a year feature a tasting menu paired with wines with expert advice and is a fabulous event! We pride ourselves in offering great service at all member’s events.
Our popular Christmas Menu is available from mid-November – smaller party bookings can be accommodated in the restaurant and larger bookings in the Gallery or Lounge and Conservatory for no additional charge.
We are really flexible so if you would prefer to have a more simple Christmas luncheon menu or an evening party with mingling and canapés or similar do give us a call or email for more information.
The bar is updating it autumn and winter cocktails lists. Check out the bar boards for these fantastic additions, as well as a ‘bin ends’ list from our large wine cellar. We have a great selection of wines available by the glass but do remember to have a look on the wine list as there are some very nice options there and we are also planning a few seasonal and vintage updates.
We have also added oat milk as well as soya milk available for your coffees or teas as well as new chocolate milk packs for the kids.
