Sarah was born and brought up in Cornwall. She did her foundation course at Cheltenham and then went on to study at Camberwell College of Art. She now lives in Kent with her three children. Sarah works out of her own studio overlooking her garden, but a childhood spent rock-pooling and mackerel fishing has instilled a lifelong love of the sea, and her main inspiration still seems to be anything fishy!
Sarah enjoys the simplicity and directness of linoprints. She works mainly in black and white and loves the boldness of the images created. No two prints are the same and Sarah loves that you’re never quite sure how it’s going to work out until she’s lifted the paper – but hopefully the image produced will bring a smile to someone’s face.
