Membership renewal

You will receive a personalised renewal notice about a month before your membership expiry date.  We are very happy to take payment over the phone if you prefer, just call during office hours with your card details. We offer a discount on your membership if we receive your total payment before your expiry date.

  

Should you decide to pay after your expiry date then the full subscription rate is payable.    We are happy to accept payment of the Full rate for full and country members in instalments; please contact the Club Secretary for details. Download our blank renewal notice for prices.

 

Please be sure that we receive your payment before your expiry date. You will not be entitled to use the Club after your expiry date until your membership is renewed. 


If your membership lapses and you wish to rejoin the Club more than one month after your expiry date you will also be charged 50% of the current entrance fee in addition to the full subscription.

 

Sleeping membership:

If members leaving the area or country notify us in writing of their impending absence, upon their return - should they wish to renew - no entrance fee will be charged.


Introducing New Members:

We If you are a full or country member and would like to introduce new members, we will give you 6 (worth £30) guest tickets if a family join either for full or country membership and 3 (worth £15) guest tickets if a single full or country member joins.

 

If you are a social member and introduce new full or country members we will give you 2 wine vouchers for each family introduced and 1 wine voucher for each full or country individual member introduced.

The bar

Guest Rules

Daily rates for Full and Country member’s guests only for swimming and or tennis: £5 per person.


Winter tennis guests: £3 per guest per day 1 Nov – 31 March.


Please buy your guest tickets upon arrival to the Club from the reception office or bar.


Each adult member may bring up to three guests at one time to the Club for swimming and tennis.


Each adult member may bring six guests for social visits to the Club.


All people under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a member over the age of 18.


Members between 16 and 18 may come unaccompanied to St Julians on the understanding that the House Rules shall be respected.


The same guest is not permitted to visit St Julians Club more than 4 times in any one year. Guests must be accompanied by a member at all times. All guests must be signed into the visitors book when using the bar.

Pool rules:

For your own safety, please read the pool rules signs located in the pool area prior to swimming. Please also take notice of the pool depth markings.


The swimming pools are unsupervised – we recommend you do not swim alone. Be sure to supervise your children at all times when swimming and when in the swimming pool area.


St Julians DOES NOT provide lifeguards.


No one under 16 may swim or be in the swimming pool area without the supervision of an adult member, who must take responsibility for their conduct and safety.


The pool is open from 6:30am – 10pm, from the beginning of April until the end October, unless otherwise stated on the entrance gate.  


Diving is not permitted in the shallow end of the main pool for safety reasons. Diving is forbidden in the middle and paddling pools.


Non-swimmers and learners, who are being supervised by a responsible adult, may only use the middle pool, paddling pool and the shallow end of the main swimming pool.


Please refrain from running and jumping around the pool.


Lilos, balls, flippers or similar articles are not allowed in the pool – only non-swimmers are allowed inflatables to assist with their swimming.


No-one may indulge in such activities as pushing or throwing others into the water, ducking or similar horse-play in or around the pool; no ‘bombing’.


Please do not swim within one and a half hours after the consumption of food.


Please do not consume alcohol in the pool area. Glasses, bottles and crockery are not permitted in the pool area. Plastic glasses and disposable plates are available from the bar.


The fenced swimming pool area is non-smoking.


In case of emergency please use the phone by the pool to summon assistance.
