Summer has arrived in style, following the late spring bank holiday heatwave. With long, sunny days and balmy evenings now upon us, the forecast for July looks set to continue June’s warm weather, with temperatures expected to rise as the month progresses.
With our beautiful pools, stunning gardens and peaceful shady walks, St Julians is the perfect place to relax and make the most of the summer. Enjoy a light bite from our takeaway bar menu for a more casual dining experience, or join us on the Terrace for a leisurely evening meal while taking in the beautiful views.
We’ve also put together another fantastic programme of members’ events this summer. July sees the introduction of our Meet the Producer Sundays, while August is packed with family-friendly events every weekend. Visit our website to discover everything we have planned.
To round off those warm summer evenings, why not sample one of our retro-inspired summer cocktails? A nostalgic nod to Club Tropicana—the drinks may not be free, but our Friday Happy Hour certainly is worth raising a glass to. Enjoy half-price cocktails every Friday from 6pm to 8pm.
Meet the Producers
Meophams Vineyard
Sunday 5 July – 3pm to 5pm
Many members will already be familiar with Meophams through the wine list at the club, where their sparkling wine has become a firm favourite. Join us to meet the winemaker, learn about the vineyard & the traditional methods used to create their wines, enjoy tasting and, if you want to, you can buy bottles to take home.
Small Beer Company
Sunday 12 July – 3pm to 5pm
Unlike other breweries, they don’t dilute or dealcoholise their beers, simply because they never compromise on flavour, exclusively brewing between 2.0-2.8% ABV.
Come along to meet the team, hear the story behind this innovative brewery, sample the range & buy beers to enjoy at home – perfect as a light drink in the hot summer.
Greensand Ridge
Sunday 19 July – 3pm to 5pm
We, at St Julians, are proud to have served some of the very first bottles produced by Greensand when it was launched. We have had them as our gin of choice ever since. Discover the stories, inspiration & sustainable practices behind the bottles, sample a selection of spirits from Gins to Eau de Vie & buy your favourites to enjoy at home.
