Bob Ogley, local author, will be speaking about his bestselling book In the Wake of the Hurricane.
This is a talk about the greatest storm to hit Kent and the Home Counties and Bob’s personal memories of the morning after and the extraordinary days which followed.
He will describe his aeroplane flight over the devastation and how his book In the Wake of the Hurricane became a national bestseller, eventually raising more than £100,000 for various charities.
