St Julians is open daily throughout the year, except Christmas Day. Club opening hours vary seasonally.  You will find below our most up to date information.

Arriving at St Julians

Please enter through the welcome area at the front of the house where you will be greeted and signed in at the welcome desk.

Guests must also be signed in here on arrival, including pre-booked swimming (April to October) and tennis guests.

This is where you book the tennis courts, sign in to gain access to the swimming pools (April to October), arrange a table for drinking or dining and make general enquiries.

Members are asked to stay with and carefully supervise their children whilst visiting St Julians.

Restaurant and Bar

St Julians is open every day for for drinking and dining.

Opening Hours from 1 April

Coffee is served from 8am Daily
Breakfast is served 8:30am to 11:30am Daily

Daily Menu is served:
12 noon to 8pm Monday to Friday
12:30pm to 8pm Saturday & Sunday
with Daily Specials including a roast on Sundays

You can book a table in advance by telephone, or you can organise a table when you arrive at the Club subject to availability. Sunday lunch is particularly busy.

We only offer table service to all tables inside and outside, so please speak to a member of waiting staff to order rather than going to the bar.

Tennis

Full and Country members may use our tennis courts. Our Tennis Rules apply.

You may book a court for one hour between 8am and 8pm. (times vary seasonally)

Telephone bookings can be made up to two weeks ahead, and the near court is floodlit for evening games.

Swimming Pools

Full and Country members may use our heated outdoor pools, which are open from 1 April to 31 October (times vary seasonally). 

Our swimming pool rules apply.

The swimming pools are unsupervised, and we do not have lifeguards. Children must be accompanied by an adult member when in the fenced pool area and must be supervised at the poolside when swimming.

Main pool  8am to 8pm

For swimming lengths only from 8am to 10am
For leisure swimming from 10am to 8pm

Slide pool & paddling pool 9am to 8pm

We have an outdoor shower and changing cubicles for members use. Please do not leave your belongings in the cubicles while you swim. The ice cream kiosk is open on sunny days.

Gardens & play areas

The gardens and children’s play areas including the sandpit, swings & playground are open to all members during Club opening hours.

The play areas by the pools are only available to Full/Country members as the fenced pool area is ‘out of bounds’ to Social members.

All our inside tables and outside bar lawn and terrace benches are available to those drinking and dining from the Club, but you are very welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy in the further grounds.

We have a football area, badminton and table tennis for member’s use. You can hire racquets, bats and balls at the welcome desk.

We have a lovely 2km woodland trail for all members to enjoy. Lookout for wildflowers, birds and lots of different trees in our woodland.

The Club has a strict ‘no dogs’ policy which also applies to our meadows and woodland.

Please can parents accompany their children at all times when in the gardens and play areas.

Guests

All adult members may entertain guests at the Club.

All guests must be signed in by their accompanying adult member upon arrival at the Club, who must remain with them for the duration of their visit. Guests may not open a tab for drinking and dining.

Social guests

For each membership household up to six guests are permitted per day visiting the Club socially.

There is no charge to bring guests to the Club to eat and drink and you do not need to tell us in advance that you are doing so, however you may like to book a table to avoid disappointment.

Please note that social guests are not permitted to enter the fenced swimming pool area.

Swimming & tennis guests

Full and Country members may invite guests for use of the swimming pools and tennis courts. For each membership household up to four guests are permitted per day to visit the Club for swimming and/or tennis.

The Club limits the number of guests permitted at the Club to use these facilities and you are required to contact us by telephone on 01732 458261 option 2 to book and pay for your guests’ visit to the Club. Please book at least 48 hours in advance to avoid disappointment.

The fee is £10 per guest for swimming and/or tennis.

Your guest tickets will only be guaranteed when paid for.  Guest tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. Guest’s use of these facilities cannot be organised on arrival.

Please note that you are required to pay for guests in the fenced pool area or on the tennis courts even if they are not swimming or playing.

Non-member guests may visit the Club up to four times in any year, with the view that they would be interested in joining in their own right after this number of visits.
