The ‘New Normal’ St Julians

Finally, restrictions are set to be lifted from 19th July, and we are able to let you know our plans at St Julians, subject to final government confirmation.

We love that we now have a welcome desk where you are greeted and signed in when you arrive. You can use this desk to book the tennis courts, arrange a table for dining and for general enquiries. From the 19th the welcome desk will also be able to offer you hire of badminton rackets, table tennis bats and footballs. Guests are signed in here and you can be assured that the Club is used exclusively by its members and their guests.

We will continue to provide a fully served dining experience. Tables can be booked inside and out and our staff will be on hand to provide you with the service you have become accustomed to.

We are very excited to be offering member’s events for children and families throughout the summer and these start at the end of July with mSporti – scroll down for more information!

Main Pool Opening Hours

8am to 10am for swimming lengths
10am to 8pm leisure swimming

We couldn’t be happier to announce that from 19th July* members will no longer need to book swimming slots so you can use the pools with far more freedom than the restrictions have allowed.

One of the many popular changes has been our morning sessions dedicated to swimming lengths and we are pleased to continue to offer this to our members.

Although swimming is no longer booked you will continue to need to sign in at the welcome desk to gain access to the pools.

Change in House Rules

We are always happy to welcome guests visiting the Club with our members. We know that our members love entertaining visiting friends and family, and it is also a way in which you can introduce new members to the Club.

Each membership household may bring up to six guests socially
Your guests who are visiting the Club to eat and drink do not need to be pre-booked and there is no charge for them to visit the Club. 


We are happy to re-introduce guests for tennis and swimming from 19th July * and the Club’s guest policy has been updated:

Each membership household may invite up to 4 guests per day to swim and/or play tennis 

To maximise the use of the club facilities by our members we are limiting the daily number of guests permitted.

Guests for swimming and tennis can only be pre booked by email to the Club Secretary.
Please allow 48 hours for confirmation.

 Guest tickets must be paid for in advance & are £10 each for non members aged 3 years & over.

 Guests tickets are non transferable but are valid for your guest to use the club for the whole day. You must remain with them for the duration of their visit.

 All guests must be signed in at the welcome desk on arrival. Please do not bring guests to use the pools or tennis courts without pre-booking as they will not be granted access. A non member guest can visit the club 4 times in any one year. You can start to pre-book your swimming and tennis guests after government confirmation on 12 July.

Impact of Covid

We are working hard to provide you with the best possible experience when you visit the Club, but please be patient if service or food takes a little longer.

Unfortunately, just as many others in the hospitality industry, we are experiencing difficulties in our food supply chain and we also currently have several staff members who are isolating due to track and trace.

In addition to our other COVID 19 safety processes, each member of staff at St Julians take a lateral flow test before coming to work, so that we can be confident in the safety of our members and staff.  Please remember…Hands * Face * Space.

We expect to continue with our current opening hours for food service but at times we may not be able to accommodate walk-ins for dining due to lack of resources. You may see empty tables but at these times they will only be available for drinks, our fabulous team of managers will be managing this daily.

Things will improve over time as our staff return to us, but we know that this will certainly affect the Club for the next few weeks, ahead of changes to isolation requirements in August.
