November at St Julians

It has been a beautiful autumn and we have been loving the mild weather and even the rain after the long hot summer. It was great that so many families enjoyed our events throughout the half term!

From 1 November our opening hours change very slightly. We continue to be open from 8am Monday to Friday and we open at 9m on Saturday and Sunday. Our last table booking is 8pm every day so do remember us when you are going out for an evening meal, it is aways cosy and candlelit at the Club!

The children’s pool are now closed but with the mild weather we have been pleased to extend the swimming season into November for the main pool. Full and Country members can continue to swim from 8am to dusk Monday to Friday and 9am to dusk on Saturday and Sunday. When the colder winter weather arrives we will have to stop heating the pool – we review this on a day-by-day basis so check our social media or call us for updates!

Once the heating is off hardy swimmers are welcome to continue swimming until the temperature goes down to 18C when we will close to pool for the winter.

If you are looking for an indoor activity to keep fit, Gatling has space for more students at her 9am Friday morning vinyasa flow yoga class. What a wonderful way to be active this autumn!

We have made a few little changes to our wine list and for you wine lovers out there, we’ve added a fabulous South African Aqualine Sauvignon Blanc available by the glass.

We also have a champagne, wine and port tasting evening on Thursday 17 November, with a six-course tasting menu to compliment. Jo from Wine Savvy will give you some great wine ideas for Christmas! If you are looking for something to do with friends before Christmas this is something a little different. Email Nell if you would like to book.

Quiz Night is this week, 8pm on Thursday 10 November. This is a fun evening with homemade pizzas on the menu, give us a call to book your team.

We have a great timetable of Christmas events for members, and the first one is our Christmas Craft Fair on Saturday 19 November 10am to 3pm. We are so excited to be having this event at the Club again, so do come along to look at our fabulous range of crafts and gifts. This event is open to non-members too so do please tell your friends!

Our Christmas Menu is available for advance booking from Monday to Saturday up until 23 December. If you are planning a get-together with a small group, we have a special offer of a free glass of fizz for each person if you book a table of up to eight enjoying our Christmas Menu. Book now!

It is also not too late to book a Christmas Party in one of our larger rooms, do contact us for availability.

The Club is a great place to relax and spend family time over the Christmas period. We only close on Christmas Day, and we always have a festive Daily Menu, plus something a bit more special on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day.
