We are open!

The Club facilities are available from 8am to 8pm

St Julians Club is fully open for members to once again enjoy our beautiful surroundings.

We will be following all government guidelines to enable us to be a safe and relaxing environment and all of our Covid-19 guidelines that we had during 2020 will remain in place.

Please find below our Covid Rule Amendments. The existing House Rules and Club Rules still apply except where changes have been made as detailed here.

Arriving at St Julians

Please enter through the welcome area at the front of the house where you will be greeted and signed in. You are required to wear a face covering when entering and moving around the building.

You can scan the Government QR code with your smartphone on arrival for NHS Test and Trace.

We have a one-way flow through the house for entry and exit. Please follow the signs and arrows accordingly.

Please observe social distancing guidance whilst at the Club.

Members are asked to stay with and carefully supervise their children whilst visiting St Julians.

The rules with regard to bringing visitors to the Club socially will be as per the House Rules. Adult members may entertain guests at the Club: for each membership household up to six guests are permitted per day visiting the Club socially.

When sitting inside the rule of six (or gatherings of two households) must be observed.

We are not able to accommodate swimming or tennis guests while social distancing is in place.

We have lots of well spaced tables for drinking and dining. We offer table service only to all tables inside and outside.

It is advisable to book a table in advance by telephone, or you can organise a table to eat or drink when you arrive at the Club subject to availability.

You may book a one hour tennis slot between 8am and 8pm. Telephone bookings can be made up to two weeks ahead.

We are not able to accommodate tennis guests while social distancing is in place. Otherwise our Tennis Rules still apply.

Scan the Government QR code on arrival for NHS Test and Trace.

Swimming Pools

The outdoor pools are heated and open.

Main pool  8am to 8pm

For swimming lengths only from 8am to 10am
For leisure swimming from 10am to 8pm

Slide pool & paddling pool 9am to 8pm

There is a restriction on the total number of swimmers permitted in each pool at one time to facilitate social distancing until social restrictions are lifted.

To facilitate this you must book a 30-minute slot for each swimmer for both the main pool and slide pool. You may call to ‘pre-book’ your swimming session (bookings open on Monday from 8am to book for the following week), or sessions can be booked on arrival subject to availability. Members are required to self-manage their allocated time slot.

The time restrictions apply only to time in the water and there is no restriction on the length of time Full and Country members can sit in the pool area during opening hours as long as social distancing can be followed.

On many occasions it will be possible to extend your swim time or book again for a later time. Please speak to us on the welcome desk when you arrive or to the pool attendant on the day.

There is no need to book to use the paddling pool but parents are required to ensure that their children observe social distancing rules.

We are not able to accommodate swimming guests while social distancing is in place.

All of the existing swimming rules remain in place.

Gardens & play areas

The gardens and play areas are open to all members.

You are very welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy in the further grounds, or ask at the welcome desk for food and drink options for the garden.

We have a lovely 2km woodland trail for all members to enjoy. Lookout for wildflowers, birds and lots of different trees in our woodland. Please note that the Club’s ‘no dogs’ policy also applies to our meadows and woodland.

The outdoor play areas are open for your use. Please can parents accompany their children at all times. There is a hand sanitiser on the willow tree for you to use.

The football area, badminton and table tennis areas are available to use. Please bring your own balls and racquets and be courteous if someone is waiting to play.

Do not visit St Julians if you are feeling unwell and / or you have any symptoms of COVID-19.  Please wash your hands regularly when visiting the Club. Sanitisers are also available for members’ use. Parents are asked to help their children use the sanitisers.

We ask that only one person/family use each toilet at a time. Please enter the Club through the side door to access the toilets and follow the one-way system to exit the building. Children must be accompanied by an adult when using the toilet facilities.

The Club will follow the government guidelines as follows:

Social distancing with people not in your household still needs to be observed.

You can meet inside at St Julians in groups of up to six people, or with members of up to two households.

You must wear a mask when moving around inside St Julians.

All dates are subject to government reviews.

We hope that from 19 July social restrictions will be lifted so these Rule Amendments will no longer be required.

Members are required to follow these rule amendments which have been put in place for the safety of both members and staff. Members not adhering to these rules will be spoken to by a member of staff and will be asked to leave to premises.
